Directions from Brooks Exit 121 I-65 to the STARTING LINE: On Brooks Road (KY 1526) at the overpass over I-65, travel west 2.0 miles to the top of the hill. Make a right onto Holsclaw Hill Road and travel 2.0 miles to the entrance of the Horine Reservation that angles in from the left. If you start down a big hill, you've gone too far! Travel along the park road approx 0.7 miles to the START.

Camping
Camping is available near the Start/Finish line in the Horine Reservation. AERIAL VIEW . Family/single sites (7 ea) are $15 per night and group sites (4 ea) are $30/night. 1/4 rick of wood is $10. There are latrines and water near all the sites. To reserve a site, call 502-368-5404 prior to 4 pm on Friday for Friday or Saturday night. Payment must be in cash or MC or Visa at the time of the reservation. After reserving a site, you will be given the combination of the lock on the gate to the camping area -- see AERIAL VIEW.
Camping is also available at the KOA campground (502-543-2041) in Shepherdsville off exit 117 I-65, 2433 Hwy 44E, about a 20 minute drive from the start/finish.
